What we collect

When you book we collect the lead passenger's name, email address and — optionally — a phone number. We also store which trip you booked, how many tickets, the seat numbers assigned, and the amount paid.

If you contact us through the website we store the name, email, optional phone number and message you send.

Payment information

We do not collect, process or store card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with an identifier we use to issue refunds. Card numbers never reach our servers.

Why we hold it

Contact details are used to send your booking confirmation and ticket, to reach you if a trip is delayed or canceled, and to identify you on the passenger manifest at boarding. We do not sell personal data. We only send you marketing email (new trips and offers) if you check the box asking for it when you book or join a waitlist, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.

Who can see it

Booking details are visible to the operator through a password-protected administration area. Our service providers — currently Stripe for payments, Neon for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting, and Postmark for booking emails — process data on our behalf under their own terms. If you opt in to marketing email, your name and email address are shared with the email marketing service we use to send it.

How long we keep it

Booking records are retained for seven years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Contact form messages are retained for two years. Waitlist entries are deleted once the relevant trip has departed. If you opt in to marketing email, we keep your name and email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe from marketing email, we keep your email address and the date you unsubscribed so that we never email you marketing again.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Contact us and we will respond within one month.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and only for the operator: a session cookie that keeps the administrator signed in. There is no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking on this site, so no consent banner is required for ordinary visitors.
